To inform the development of the draft new Local Plan we held a series of conversations with different groups to identify key issues for the Plan moving forward. In addition to this, we have also updated the evidence base that supports the Local Plan. The work undertaken at this stage has informed the development of the draft new Local Plan.

The draft new Local Plan is published for consultation and engagement (Regulation 18 stage). Following this, the responses received as part of this engagement will be reviewed and the Plan will be updated.

The final draft new Local Plan will then be published for a further stage of public consultation and engagement (Regulation 19 stage).

Following consultation on the final draft new Local Plan (Regulation 19 stage) the Plan will then be finalised and submitted to the Secretary of State for examination.

The new Camden Local Plan will then be subject to examination in public by a Planning Inspector.
Adoption

Subject to the new Camden Local Plan being found ‘sound’ by a Planning Inspector, the Local Plan will then be adopted by the Council.
